VENDOR FEES

The Paisley Farmers Market holds general liability insurance for the market, but each vendor is responsible for insuring their own products. All vendors must adhere to public health standards. Check www.publichealthgreybruce.on.ca.

All vendors are EXPECTED to promote themselves on our Facebook page to increase our network.

2017 MARKET POLICIES:

Paisley Farmers’ Market is a unique market that offers primarily locally grown food. Vendors will come from and product will be grown, processed made within 100 km of Paisley. 50+1% of our on-site vendors will be primary producers. The balance will be bakers (at least 25% of remnant) and resellers of food. There are NO crafters allowed at the Paisley Farmer’s Market.

80% of your display will be food.  We will allow food vendors to offer other product if it relates to food, garden or physical wellness.

Vendors will be organized & ready to sell at 8:45 AM sharp. Area will be clean at end of day.

We prefer that all vendors stay until 1pm every market day. If this is a problem, we request that you let the manager know so you have an appropriate placement on the lot and that you be discrete about your departure. No moving vehicles are allowed in the vending area between the hours of 9am-12pm.

You may begin to clean up at noon.

Booths shall present a clean image and attire.

Vendors are responsible to provide their own canopy and table.

Each booth WILL display a legible sign at the booth (8.5×11 or larger) including name and point of origin (where grown, baked or crafted).

All baked or processed goods need ingredient lists displayed.

All meat, eggs and dairy will be at temperature & in proper storage facility as required by Health Unit. www.publichealthgreybruce.on.ca.

Full–time and part-time vendors are expected to participate in policy discussions.

Full + part time vendors will contact the Market Mgr by Friday noon if not attending Saturday. We appreciate if weekly vendors would let us know if they are coming by Fri. noon. 519-379-7284.

Full season and half season vendors set the weekly price standard and are consulted in the application approval process if it applies to them.  For example, if a full season vendor has beans and you come that week with beans, your price must be satisfactory to the (other) full season vendors.

There will be NO SMOKING within 20 ft of tables by vendors or customers.

There will be no live animals for sale or on display at our market.

THESE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO ADJUSTMENT AS WE GROW.

PLEASE NOTE: Your signature implies you’ve read & agree to all of the above terms & conditions. The Market Manager along with the Application Approval Team has the right to dismiss a vendor from the market, should he/she fail to comply with market guidelines or prove disruptive to creating a positive market environment.
